I just finished reading all of your posts. I love them! Sometime I'd like to hear about what classes they make you take, some things about the Navy you have learned there, like the dos and dont's. I know nothing about all those details and it would be interesting to hear about. Glad you are doing well and you are slowly earning privileges back, I guess it shows you not to take things for granted. Thanks for taking the time to share! Can't wait for the next one!

I'd be happy to tell you about our classes. We take a variety of them...from naval warfare, history, Division Officer training, etc. To be honest, I can't remember all of the classes and things we have done. I think I've been half asleep for many of them. I was so tired the first two weeks that all my energy during lecture was trained on keeping my eyes open. I definitely dozed off a few times. As far as the dos and don'ts...just listen to the Chief and do exactly what he says. Be on time, obey the rules, go through the chain of command, don't ask too many questions because your shipmates or DIVO usually have the answers, get really good at getting yourself ready for the day in 10-15 minutes, make sure you always have your complete uniform. I guess the main thing is that you need to be a team player. If one person fails, we all fail. You need to watch out for your shipmates, remind them if they are missing things, keep them accountable for the rules, and DO NOT get offended by the little things. People tell me things all the time that I've forgotten or need to fix on my uniform. They tell me the protocols if I forget...and I am always grateful. They are helping me to stay out of trouble and you really can't get through this kind of program without working closely...as one unit. My Chief always says..."One Team...One Fight." I have so much more to say about all of this, but I will have to tell you later!

I'm actually eating dessert right now and loving it! I'm glad you were able to read through my posts...it's definitely been a different experience, but I am so glad that I choose to join the Navy. It's really changing the way I look at things and me. So glad I got to see you all at Tracie's wedding...hope you all are well!
