Well...I guess I should update you all about what the Navy has me doing next. I have really enjoyed my time at ODS. Honestly, it has been tough at times, but I've loved the experience...though, I'm ready to sleep again! I will graduate on Friday morning at 1100. Until then, we have a few more briefs/lectures...mostly exit debriefing, etc. Beyond that, tomorrow night is the reception...mandatory fun! After the reception, I'll be going out with some of my shipmates for dessert or dinner...perhaps both. I'm looking forward to that. We are also supposed to sing at the reception. God Bless the USA has taken on a whole new meaning while being here...and I'm sure that will continue to change and grow the longer I serve. After graduation, I will be flying into Portsmouth where I will check in to my new command on Saturday morning. I then get house-hunting leave for about ten days. I will report to begin work on the 3rd of September. I feel quite relieved to have time to look at apartments. With the valuable help of my Dad, I have a few apartments that I am looking at renting. I will be touring/viewing places on Monday. Hopefully over the weekend, I will find a car too. This next week is going to be crazy, busy. Pray that I get a car and apartment! My household goods have arrived in Portsmouth and I'll have those moved in once I take up residence at my new home. That is all I know for now. I'll keep you all posted...God always brings me what I need when I need it. Pray that I trust Him in my apartment and car search and that I get rested before starting my career as a Navy Nurse. Got to go for now...
