So I have finally moved into my apartment! It feels good to have a place to live...and I hope it feels like home soon. I always tell myself to give things two weeks to start feeling normal. My place is quite comfy and I love that I have couches! My favorite room is the living room...very cozy and has tons of my pictures! Anyway, I start work tomorrow. I will be showing up in my whites and I think that the first part of this week is admin stuff. I'm a little nervous, but am finding that God gives me strength to do what I must and peace in knowing that He is in control...and that He's got this! I went to church yesterday with a very kind couple. They picked me up at my place and I went out to lunch with them and some others from the church after the service. I think I met half the congregation! People were so kind and I am planning on going back next week. I've mostly been alone for the past week...so I was happy to actually talk with people again! Later in the day, my brother came over. We hung out for a bit. I showed him my new place, got the couches moved in, and then we went to the store. We made spaghetti dinner together and watched a movie! I loved it! Had such an awesome day! Today was spent in preparation for this coming week. I did some cooking, cleaning around this place, and got my uniforms ready...which took a lot of time! I'll post again at the end of the week to let you all know how my first days went!
That I grow in my role as a nurse and always do my best.
That I would follow the Lord wholeheartedly.
I'm Carolyn...am so excited to be starting my nursing career in the Navy. Who knows where this all will take me?!
